Delete your account
Last updated October 15, 2026
You can delete your stardrop account from inside the app at any time. When deletion succeeds, your account and its associated app records are removed from our active database, and an active subscription is cancelled.
In the app
- Open stardrop and go to your profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple may ask you to confirm once more so stardrop can disconnect from your Apple ID.
After deletion succeeds, the app signs you out and returns to the start. If it cannot finish, it shows an error so you can try again.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in connection.
- Your journals and saved conversations, and everything stardrop built from them: reflections, moons, planets and your weekly profile.
- Your star, your name and the preferences you chose.
- Your subscription record. An active subscription is cancelled immediately and you are not charged again.
Our payment provider, Stripe, keeps the invoices and payment records it is required to keep. Those records do not include your journals or conversations.
On your phone
Deleting your account also clears stardrop’s reminders, widget and saved data on that phone. Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account; use the steps above, or contact us.
If you can’t open the app
Email hello@stardrop.app from the address connected to your account, or tell us which Apple or Google account you used. Contact us for help with account deletion. We may ask you to confirm your identity before handling your request under applicable law.
